Music Class For Homeschoolers Policies

Service

Music Class for Homeschoolers offers music classes for the homeschool community with daytime online classes.

Classes are delivered online through Google Meet and have up to 4 students per class.

Each class has their own private “classroom” where the classes are held and the class material is saved so students have material to practice on their own outside of classes.

Office hours are offered once a week for any student who wants extra practice or to get caught up on any material.

Communication

All communication will be done through drumclassesforhomeschoolers@gmail.com. Please send us an email here for all questions and inquiries.

Payments & Billing

The monthly payment is to reserve a spot in a class. 

Service is on a month to month basis; there is no specified length of time you need to commit to taking the classes. Please see “cancellation” below for our cancellation policy.

The card you put on file will be charged once a month on the same date that you originally paid (ie you first paid on September 1st, you will be charged the 1st of the month every month until cancellation).

If you need to update your payment method, visit https://billing.stripe.com.

Reschedules

Due to the nature of the class setting, we do not do reschedules if you miss a class. We offer “office hours” once per week that you can utilize for extra practice and to get caught up.

You do not need to contact us if you are going to miss a lesson since your payment is to reserve the spot each week.

Schedule Changes

If you need to change your regularly scheduled class time, email admin@musicclassforhomeschoolers.com and we will work with you to find a new time that works best for you and your student.

Summer: If you know in advance that you will not be able to continue classes in the summer, but would like to continue in the fall, we will hold your spot for your scheduled class time for 50% of your normal monthly payment. If you fully cancel, you forfeit your original class time and can resign up in the fall and we will book you into an available class time.

"5th Week" Classes & Holidays

There are some months that there will be 4 classes, and some months where students will have 5 classes (due to the calendar), and several times throughout the year that there is no class (due to the holiday schedule). The monthly payment is to reserve a spot in a class (and not for a specific number of classes attended), but it may help to note that the 5th (or extra) week in some months even out with the holiday weeks when there is no class.

There will be no class on Labor Day or the weeks of July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day. Click here to see the calendar that shows when there is no class.

Cancellation

In the event a student discontinues taking classes, you can cancel your payment subscription by visiting the "Account Info" section of the website HERE, or by emailing admin@musicclassforhomeschoolers.com

Refunds

You can cancel your monthly payment anytime, but no refunds will be given since the payment is to reserve a class space.
