How It Works

Fun, Live Weekly Class

We meet once a week for a 30 minute class (up to 4 students)

Equipment

Everyone starts on a practice drum pad (about $20) and learns to read/count/play rhythms on that

(students can switch to a real drum set later, and we'll help you cross that bridge when we get there)

Drumset Class

Most students are excited to play songs on a full drum set. You can either use a real drum kit or get started with an easy option that's only $60 (it's like a small tabletop electric pad...it's pretty cool and a ton of our students use it)

Office Hours

If you ever miss a class, it's no problem. Everything we work on in class is saved in your "Google Classroom," and then you can also come catch up during Mr. Tim's Office Hours anytime.

Your music will be saved in your Google Classroom, and Mr. Tim holds Office Hours (extra open practice time) each week, so you can book that and catch up!

You can also just book that whenever you want (like for extra help, or to prepare for a special event!)

My Child Is Brand New!

Most students who join our program are. They are in great hands with Mr. Tim; he's a World Class DCI & WGI drum instructor who is also great with younger students. He's patient, supportive, encouraging, and our students and parents love him!

They'll have a great time in this class- it doesn't push younger students too hard; just enough to keep them engaged, moving their hands, and using their brain.

Just come to the free intro/trial session and you'll get a really good feel for the supportive, encouraging environment Mr. Tim sets for the kids 🙂

My Child Isn't A Beginner...

A lot of students come in already having some music experience from piano, and some might even have been playing drums.

During the intro/trial session, Mr. Tim will get a sense of how far along your child is and find a good class for you that isn't a beginner class 🙂👍
